Welcome to February and the beginning of our new volunteer year!
Our first gathering this year will include a Social Media Event sponsored by Facebook and Banjo. We were selected by NAHJ along with the Atlanta Chapter to host an event where we will showcase social media’s best practices and have an opportunity to learn about the recently introduced Facebook Journalism Project. This event will be hosted next Wednesday, Feb. 8. Details to follow.
Our 2017 calendar will be updated by this weekend. In addition to our events, which return to our Saturday schedule, it will also include workshops, sessions and events to other local journalism organizations.
