PROGRAMS

In keeping with the mission of Hispanic Communicators DFW, the programs aim to promote, advocate, and support Latinos in media by:

  • creating leadership opportunities to lead conversations while serving as speakers and moderators
  • developing programming that encourages knowledge sharing, industry awareness, and professional development
  • providing platforms that bring the community together to celebrate and elevate each other 

HCDFW Conversations + Networking

Organized for Thursday evenings, the two-part program consists of an hour-long conversation with a subject-matter expert and moderated by an industry colleague. The program is followed by an hour-long networking session.

HCDFW Mentors with Kristin Diaz

Led by Kristin Diaz, a working professional with KRLD Radio and member of HCDFW, the program is designed to support Hispanic students and early-career professionals in the fields of journalism and communications.

The sessions are held on the last Tuesday of each month via Zoom.

Annual Reception

Events are scheduled annually or as programming and fundraising allows that celebrates the community of journalists and communicators, raises awareness for the work of the organization and engages business leaders. Learn more about the 2023 event.
