The HCDFW Hall of Fame program recognizes contributions to journalism and communications in the DFW market. Recipients are nominated by past presidents of Hispanic Communicators DFW based on their contributions to the DFW Network.

The selection committee determines inductees based on the following criteria: organizational leadership, volunteerism, historical impact, community outreach, professional mentorship, donor relations, or program development.

The selection committee reviews nominees based on their contributions and impact, which may vary according to industry trends and events during their selection periods.

Hispanic Communicators DFW inducted the first Hall of Fame class in 2006.
