We’re looking for an ethical, passionate journalist who is self-motivated and has a great attitude; someone who can write for on-air, as well as the web and social media.
You must have solid news judgment, the ability to multi-task and be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
The ideal candidate is someone who can help coach other producers and guide reporters in their daily story coverage.
A college degree in journalism or related field is required. Professional experience preferred.
Previous KTXS producers have moved onto markets like Dallas, Austin, and Oklahoma City.
