Miguelángel Piñero Álvarez has officially joined the HCDFW board as vice president of Journalism. The appointment is effective this month.
Miguelángel is a reporter at Univision 23 in Dallas and has 13 years of experience as a reporter for radio and television stations.
In Venezuela, he worked for Noticias RCN Colombia and NTN24 Colombia. He also worked at Noticieros Televisa in Mexico.
He is a member of HCDFW, NAHJ as well as a member of the Federación Internacional de Periodistas (FIP or IFJ).
