A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Our Google News Lab held last month was a great success!
We had 41 people in attendance and Sam Stewart provided us with an outstanding presentation.
Remember that all of our workshops will always be free for our members and the only thing we ask is that you register in advance.
If you attended the Google News Lab and haven’t already submitted your evaluation form, please do so: https://goo.gl/ZaSv7o.
And yes, we will have more Google News Labs in the future.
If you were unable to attend, here is what you missed: https://goo.gl/MhazdA.
We have great things in store for you in the next couple of months, but first; let’s talk about the gala!
2016 ANNUAL GALA

SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISING
With the amount we matched, we raised a total of $5,885 for our 2nd Bert Lozano Scholarship in March! Our thanks to the individuals and the institutions that made this possible:
Louis Lozano
Fernando Xavier Pena
Houston Endowment
KRGV 5 News
Julian Rodriguez
Stacy Pross
Nathan Hazelton
We now want to raise another $5000 to help another student go to college. Remember that all your contributions go directly to support out students! (Click on the image below to go directly to our donation page)
We launched our new campaign just yesterday and we already received donations. Remember you can contribute as little as $10 to help reach our goal.
