Christy Robinson is the digital coordinator at NPR/PBS member station KERA. A native of Arlington and current Waxahachie resident, Christy has worked at Computer Task Group, Cowboys & Indians magazine and – three different times – at The Dallas Morning News. She enjoys growing digital audiences, improving user experience, communicating analytics, coaching colleagues, social strategy, SEO and any other way she can think of to support and promote good journalism.
Tommy Noel is a multi-media journalist for The Dallas Morning News. He shoots and edits video for dallasnews.com , and will occasionally write stories for print and online. Tommy graduated from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and has worked for 10 years in TV news both on-air and behind the scenes. He’s been at The News for five years. Tommy is 100% left handed and can’t go a day without Diet Dr Pepper.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Lourdes Vazquez has utilized her bilingual skills to cover a wide range of topics from immigration to breaking news. Vazquez is now the digital content producer for Univision 23 Dallas. For years, Vazquez has worked as a reporter for print and digital outlets in North Texas, including Mundo Hispánico and Al Día Dallas.
Vazquez received a bachelor’s degree in news writing and reporting from the Columbia College in Chicago and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas.
Juan Arango is a multi-media journalist with more than 18 years of experience covering sports. He has covered three FIFA World Cups, four Copas América, and five Gold Cups. Arango has a master’s degree in communications from the University of Miami.
He is based in Miami. Arango is now the Latin America correspondent for Diario Sport from Barcelona, Spain, and the host of his bilingual podcast Beyond The Pitch.
