The Dallas/Fort Worth Network of Hispanic Communicators mourns the passing of John Gutiérrez-Mier, a Star-Telegram reporter and former Vice President-Print of the organization. John died Friday after undergoing heart surgery earlier this month. He was 43.
John was an active NAHJ member and served on the planning committee for the 2005 NAHJ Convention in Fort Worth. Network members and his colleagues will miss John and we express our deepest sympathies to his family.
