About our workshop

We are proud to host two outstanding journalists this month for our investigation workshop. The first portion of the workshop will focus on how to conduct investigations on a daily basis. The second part, will provide insights into long-term investigations.

About our speakers

Emilia Díaz Struck Research Journalist

Based in Washington, Emilia works for the International Consortium of Journalists (a network of 190 journalists in 65 countries). She was the research editor of the controversial Panama Papers case (2016) with which the consortium obtained a the 2017 Pulitzer Prize.

Yezmín Thomas Former Investigative Journalist

Yezmín is a bilingual award winning multimedia journalist with more than fifteen years of experience in professional video, television production and broadcast journalism. She won the Lone Star Emmy 11  times and for several years belonged to the research unit of Telemundo 39 in Dallas.
