Join us at the Hispanic Communicators annual scholarship gala on April 16

Start making plans for Saturday, April 16 when the Hispanic Communicators DFW will hold its annual scholarship gala at 6 p.m. at the eM The Venue, 1500 Dragon St. in Dallas. It’s a night to celebrate our future generation of journalists and professionals in communications.

This year Alfredo Corchado will be our keynote speaker. Corchado is the longtime Mexico City Bureau Chief for The Dallas Morning News. He is also the author of Midnight in Mexico. The book is about Corchado’s personal experience covering the drug wars, cartels and violence in Mexico. Corchado recently became the director of The Borderlands Program at the Cronkite School of Journalism in Arizona.
